Rainy Day FUN!!!

We have had lots of rain in the past week, which is great, but it means being stuck at home and going stir crazy. Well, Maci and I beat the boredom one day by busting out the playdoh and playing in the kitchen with it. She loves to help me in the kitchen and whenever she does it is typically the same routine. She pulls a chair up to the counter I am cooking at and waits for me to tell her to "scoop this" or "pour that." So, in order to make this playdoh playtime not like the others, I let her "cook" all by herself with all of my kitchen things, including the oven (for pretend, of course). We got out muffin tins, measuring spoons, cookie cutters, cookie sheets, rolling pins, tooth picks, etc. and had a blast! She told me she felt like the movie Ratatouille.

Just like Daddy

I guess Bryce has seen Joey do his hair once or twice. I found him the other day with Joey's hair product (Joey's going to be mad at me for calling it that, but that's what it is) in the corner of our closet digging his finger into it and wiping chunks of it into his hair. He formed a nice THICK layer all over his head with it! I had to wash Bryce's little head of hair TWICE to get it all off! And to top it off, he used up almost all of Joey's favorite "hair product"!! This picture doesn't show the "MESS" very well, but you get the idea!

Bling! Bling! Earrings for Maci!!

Maci and her cousin Hailee got their ears pierced together while we were in Arizona. She has wanted to wear earrings for a long time now. Then when she actually got the choice she was all of a sudden not sure. I told her it was totally up to her and that I wouldn't make her if she didn't want to. The day we had planned to go was when she finally decided she wanted to. Although there were a few tears shed, over all she was very brave and put on a happy face for little Hailee who was going after her. Then (just like I had told her) it hurt for just a second, and with the help of a sucker, she was fine!

If you'll notice in the second picture that the flash has made my face extremely white. Well, at first I didn't like it. Now, I proudly call it my "vampire" look. Move over Bella!!!

Arizona Trip

WARNING: Lots of pictures!!!!

We just spent a week and a half in Arizona visiting my family. The main reason for the trip was my mom’s 50^th birthday. We threw a surprise party for her, but the biggest surprise was that WE (Maci, Bryce, and I) were there.

We spent the first two nights at Cassie and Joe’s house. Maci and especially Bryce fell in love with Keelie. We haven’t seen her since she was only a few weeks old last December. Now she is 8 months old and cute as can be! Bryce quickly became her best friend and protector, although Keelie might disagree about that!

Maci and Bryce were in heaven having all of their cousins(Trevor, Kyle, Hailee, Keelie, and Kendal) there to cause trouble with. We had tons of fun shopping, eating, swimming, and just hanging out. Maci and Hailee got their ears pierced together also. Of course my camera battery was dead well before then and so I will have to wait to steal pictures of that day when my sister gets them on her blog.

Here is Brittney, Randy, and Kendal at her blessing. She wore the prettiest dress that reminded me of a wedding gown. And we are all pretty mad at Brittney because she doesn’t look like she had a baby 5 weeks ago!
