Spaghetti

Now that Bryce has experienced the joys of eating real food it is nearly impossible to get him to eat baby food from a jar. This is fine with me, only there are times when I need him to eat from a jar because we are on the go or something. We were at a BBQ the other night and he threw a fit when I tried to feed him the jar of baby food I had brought for him to eat, because he could see everyone around him eating REAL FOOD. So, I eventually gave up and fed him grapes that I peeled for him along with bread and lettuce. I know....YUMMY!!! But he didn't care because it wasn't from the jar.

I'm not sure what we're going to do with this girl. She loves dancing and cheerleading which are both foreign to her Mom. She starts dance again in September and I also wanted to sign her up for soccer. I shouldn't have asked her first...but I did. Our conversation went something like this.

Mom: Maci, do you want to play soccer and be on Jake's team?
Maci: No, I ONLY want to DANCE.
Mom: You are going to do dance too. You can do both if you want, dance AND soccer.
Maci: No, I ONLY want to DANCE.

So, we'll try soccer in the spring maybe. I would sign her up anyways, but with my luck she would remember our conversation and throw a fit when I tried taking her to soccer. Plus, she is only 3 (almost 4) and preschool and dance are enough for her right now.

Two Peas In a Pod...........Right?

As Bryce gets older more and more people tell me how much he and Maci look alike. Which is exactly what I think. Joey, on the other hand, thinks they really don't look alike. Maybe it is because we recently cut off the last of Maci's blonde hair and so she kind of has a whole new look too. Who knows what he is thinking...maybe he needs to get his eyes checked along with his ears!!! Just kidding Joey! You all agree with me though, right?


By the way, did you notice the little Mohawk I gave Bryce? There still isn't much hair yet (what you see in the picture is basically all there is), but it is growing......just very slowly!!!

Brittsue and Randy too!!!

Maci is so lucky to have so many aunts and uncles to spoil her. My sister Brittney and her husband Randy were here visiting last week and we had lots of fun.






We took in a Frisco Roughriders game one night. Dinner, movie, trip to the "snow cone lady", and a drive to Deion Sanders house. Plus, we hit the gym every morning and swam too.


















Just like when anyone else comes to visit, Maci burst into tears as we were leaving the airport from dropping them off.

"Mommy, I miss Brittney and Randy so much! I don't want them to go!"
