Maci made and decorated Joey's birthday cake this year. Also, the tools you see on top of the cake are actually candles that she picked out as well. She really knows her daddy well since his two favorite things lately are sports(which is always a favorite) and tools.

I'm sure everyone heard that all Joey really got for his birthday this year was a new lawnmower. Well, of course thats just not true. Maci and I got him a few other things. One of them being this awesome glider. We actually thought we were buying him a kite that would be fun to use since it seemed to be windy alot lately. Well, it turned out to be a glider that doesn't even work in the wind. What luck! After a few unsuccessfull attempts to use the glider it is now Maci's newest toy.

As you can tell Maci is quite the "Little Lady." But who can blame her for showing a little skin. Wouldn't you if those were your cute little legs and were wearing My Little Pony underwear!!!!

We have recently changed the rules for Maci's favorite game of Hide and Seek. Instead of one of us hiding while the other looks for you, we now just hide Bryce and the other person has to find him. We also like to use Bryce when we play the game "Hot and Cold" .

We blessed Bryce in church this past Sunday. Some family from Arizona were able to come....Grandpa Steve, Grandma Brenda, Uncle Nate, Aunt Cassie and Uncle Joe....and, of course, Andy, Kaity, and Charlie.
As luck would have it, it was also Daylight Savings weekend where we had to set our clocks forward an hour. So, in the morning we were all running a little late to make it to 9am church.

Dallas Aquarium

On Monday we went to the Dallas Aquarium. The line went to get into the aquarium was crazy. It reminded us of the line for the Indiana Jones ride at Disneyland because of the scenery, the way the line wound round and round forever, and the fact that we were in that line for about 35 minutes.

It was also very crowded inside too. But everyone had lots of fun!!

Uncle Nate looked just like this picture the whole time he was here. He had his cell phone in his head and his head looking down as he texted his girlfriend Ruby.
It started on the way home from the airport when I kept hearing a funny sound in the car and I asked if that was someone's cell phone and my dad told me that it was Nate texting his girlfriend.
I think she must have had a play by play of everything we did the entire time he was here. Luckily for his fingers he went home on Monday night with my dad.

Cassie and Joe gave Maci more attention than any child possibly ever been given. They played horsey, hide and seek, jumped on the trampoline, pushed her in the swing, pretended to be various cartoon characters such as The Backyardigans, chased her, let her chase them. put lipstick and makeup on her....I'll stop at that, but the list goes on and on.
So, it is probably not suprising to hear that Maci had a hard time when they were being dropped off at the airport. I didn't go mainly because I knew how sad Maci was going to be. Sure enough, she cried Cassie's name almost all of the way home. And this wasn't just any cry....it was the saddest cry she has ever cried!!!
Now she is over the fact that they have gone and now talks about visiting them and going swimming at their house.
