The New New Hotness

SWG: So Wuby, I have been wearing "The New Hotness" shirt out in public and the response has been overwhelmingly positive.

WUBY: I like to view my artwork as an extension of me...an extension of my soul if you will. People love my work, so it doesn't surprise me that they would admire a t-shirt with my picture on it.

SWG: You seem to have a lot of nicknames associated with you. Everyone knows why people have been calling you the new hotness, but where did Wuby come from?

WUBY: When I was about 21, I had a serious bed wetting problem. One of my roommates suggested that I start sleeping with a blanket. He even bought me a blanket and named it "WUBY". Turns out that the blanket solved my problem. People have been calling me Wuby ever since.

SWG: Do you ever find that "The New Hotness" naming convention causes confusion. What happens when you come out with a new piece of work. Is it called the new new hotness. Is the previous new hotness now the old new hotness?

WUBY: I am not going to lie, I do have some critics. However, the vast majority of the art loving public, love me.
